1. Who We Are

AEOlytix ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at aeolytix.com, including the audit tool, desktop application, and related services.

2. Information We Collect

  • Audit URLs: URLs you submit for auditing are processed server-side and temporarily stored in our database to generate shareable reports. Anonymous audit sessions are deleted after 3 days.
  • Account data: If you create an account, we store your email address and hashed password via Supabase.
  • Payment data: Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store credit card numbers. We store PayPal transaction/subscription IDs to track your purchase status.
  • Contact form: Name, email, and message submitted via our contact form are forwarded to our team email. We use Formspree to process these submissions.
  • Local storage: We store your audit unlock status in your browser's localStorage to avoid showing paywalls on content you've already paid for.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To generate and display audit reports
  • To verify and grant access to paid features
  • To send transactional emails (account verification, purchase receipts)
  • To respond to support and project inquiries
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes

4. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: database and authentication. Data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL instance.
  • PayPal: payment processing. PayPal's privacy policy applies to payment transactions.
  • Formspree: contact form submission handling.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to persist your paywall unlock status across sessions. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

6. Data Retention

  • Anonymous audit sessions: deleted after 3 days
  • Account data: retained while your account is active; deleted on request
  • Payment records: retained for 7 years for accounting purposes

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@aeolytix.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of AEOlytix after changes constitutes acceptance.
